<p>This kit includes an <a href="http://www.moderndevice.com/products/lcd117-asmb">assembled LCD117 Driver Board</a> and a <a href="http://moderndevice.myshopify.com/products/20x4-blue-lcd">20 × 4 blue character <span class="caps">LCD</span></a>. Everything needed to convert a serial signal into characters on an <span class="caps">LCD</span> Screen! <br />
Uses a three-wire serial interface, consisting of ground, +5 volts and serial data, and even includes the cable to hook it up. <br />
It’s all assembled and tested with headers soldered on the <span class="caps">LCD</span>. Just unpack, mate the <span class="caps">LCD</span> and 117 driver board hook up the signals and start sending serial data to the <span class="caps">LCD</span>.</p>
<p>The price is just slightly higher than the pieces separately because we have to solder the headers on the <span class="caps">LCD</span> and test the whole package.</p>
